It must be restated here that Reiki Practitioners are not
subject to Regulation and there will be very many Practitioners who do not wish to go down this route. This does not mean
that they are any less 'qualified' to give Reiki.
The 'professional' status here shows that the Reiki Practitioner has undergone training to ensure that he/she
is fully aware and understands the concept of giving Reiki in a 'professional' setting such as a hospital etc.
At present there is no legal requirement to hold this
concept.
This Directory will contain the details
of Professional Reiki Practitioner.
The Practitioners listed here will:-
- be fully qualified in their field of Reiki
- be experienced
- be aware of the National Occupational Standards for Reiki
- adhere
to Best Practice when conducting a treatment
- adhere to a Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics
- be a member of an accredited Reiki organization
- hold current
insurance
- adhere to 'continual professional development'
- have
undertaken training in professional proficiency
